Early last summer we worked with a couple who lived on a working dairy farm. And it was amazing.
The wedding was featured in the Save the Date magazine which you can read here.
I met Caroline when we exhibited at the Save the Date wedding show the previous year. When she said she had dreams of holding their wedding reception in their cow barn, I didn’t realise that she meant an ACTUAL barn with living, moving cows in it. My first venue visit in the snow and sleet in January was a little bit of a shock but we love a challenge and the couple had so many amazing ideas that it was always going to be pulled together with style, love and a lot of hard work.
Caroline and Gareth wanted a day that was personal and completely unique to them as a couple and focussed on a handmade, relaxed and informal country wedding, ending in a jolly good knees up!
I loved working with this couple and Caroline has become a friend during the time we spent working together. I’ve shed tears with her watching the totally perfect wedding video that was filmed by James at Digi-scope and will never forget the moment she came giggling into the kitchen with her girlfriends and proceeded to chop the bottom off her wedding dress so she could dance the night away easier!
And this is why I love what we do.
