Hello lovelies! Hope you’re all fine and dandy. We’ve got a really exciting post to share with you today. A week or so ago Dolly made her photoshoot debut and boy was she looking pretty!
If you fancy arriving in style and still need to get your wedding wheels arranged, then do get in touch with us if you like the look of our girl. She is a real beauty and it goes without saying that she loves a good wedding.
The styled shoot will be featured in all it’s glory in the next issue of Save the Date Magazine so keep an eye out for it. The girls will be distributing the magazine at the Save the Date Wedding Event with a Difference at The Roundhouse on 13th October 2013. Darby & Joan of course will be there exhibiting so make sure you come and see us.
The thing is… we just can’t wait, so we thought we’d share a few behind the scenes photos taken from the day to give you a taste for what’s coming… and it’s good folks! Everyone involved, which will now be referred to as the ‘DREAM TEAM’ worked tirelessly all day and creativity was in full flow. So much fun was had by everyone and it was smiles all round despite it being a little bit nippy at times!
Naturally we turned to pinterest to curate all of our ideas and inspiration. We got all the suplliers involved too so they could add their ideas and get a feel for the style of the shoot.

To sum up this feel of the shoot in four words would definitely be Rustic, Boho, Festival & Relaxed. Inspired by corn fields, messy buns, flower crowns and festivals, we wanted to create an uber-stylish vibe with a touch of whimisical magic and an overall feel of FUN!
We wanted to create a really relaxed, fresh feel to the shoot, not too ‘done’ but still gorgeously pretty. David & Vicki did an absolutley fabulous job creating the festival look. Messy buns, boho waves and fishtail plaits complemented the feel of the shoot perfectly and the make up? Perfect. Fresh faced with a rosy glow.
The Flowers & Vintage Styling
Can we all just pause for a minute and say how fabulous the floral crowns and in fact all the flowers are!? Big thank you to Kerry at Tineke Floral Designs for supplying them, they couldn’t have been more perfect. They were all a little bit different using Daisies, Hydrangeas, and Gypsophila. They were simple, elegant and just the right amount of rustic.
We created a range of different areas each with a different feel. We had a fun picnic set which had colourful streamers drifting in the wind. For other shots, we kept it simple using the stunning fields as a backdrop to create a relaxed, free-spirited look. Of course Dolly was the star of the show! We draped bunting inside and the girls had fun eating yummy cakes and sipping out of jam jars. The sun started setting around 6pm which made for some fantastic dreamy shots in the open countryside.
Oh The Glamour of Modelling
The models, it goes without saying are drop dead gorgeous but above all, absolute troopers. It got a little chilly whilst on set but they were amazing and it’s fair to say that red blanket came in handy! High Five girls and thank you so much for your hard work.
The Dream Team
What a fantastic bunch of suppliers we worked with. We can’t thank you enough for your time, help, talent and general fabulousness!
Here’s a round up of the pictures from behind the scenes, we don’t want to give too much away but we couldn’t be more thrilled with the way the day went. These photos won’t have a patch on Emma’s shots but gives you a little flavour of what’s to come! Hope you enjoy and we’d love to get your feedback.
Ok so how excited are you to see the professional shots by the fabulous Emma! Not too long to wait and make sure you grab yourself yourself a copy of the Save the Date Magazine when it’s out in October! Why not pop on down to the Save the Date Wedding Event with a difference where they’ll be available. We will be there to talk all things weddings.
A BIG big thank you once again to everyone who was involved, thank you for your time, talent and expertise in making the shoot such fun and a success.
